MAKING RAKHIS

Class Senior Montessori Event
As a part of ‘Handy
Handicrafts Organization’, our school’s business enterprise, the students of Senior
Montessori made beautiful rakhison August 19 & 20, 2015 with the help of
their teachers. They reusedwoollen threads, old rakhis as well as coloured pictures
of cartoon characters and stuck them on these rakhis. 'Rakhi' is a sacred
thread tied by the sister around the wrist of her brother on the occasion of
‘RakshaBandhan’ which falls on August 29, 2015 this year.This
small contribution of the students would help their peers in Zambia to eat two
square meals a day.
