FUNDRAISING  EVENT
Selling Senior School Artefacts

The business team comprising of grade 11 and 12 students soldLord Ganesha idols made from clay to teachers and students of grade 6 to 12 during the short break on August 23, 2017. The idols were sold as a part of Fundraising Event of ‘School Enterprise Challenge’, an initiative of UK based NGO ‘Teach a Man to Fish’.The Ganesha idols priced at INR 30 and INR 100 were sold out within no time as the sale was organized just before Ganesha Chaturthi, an important Hindu festival symbolizing the birth of Hindu deity Lord Ganesha. The idols were prepared by grade 8, 9 and 10 students during their CCA Indoor Activity periods. The business team sold the idols to the teachers and students with their exemplary convincing skills.The vibrant colors and eco-friendly nature of the idols attracted the customers. These all factors boosted the sales of the day and gave some useful experience to students which will accompany them for their lifetime. The funds will soon be distributed among the less privileged section of the society to promote their development.
