School Intra Class Clay Modelling and Eco Club Activity
With the advent of
Ganesh Chaturthi festival, the atmosphere is filled with making of Lord Ganesha
idols in diverse forms. However, when idols are made with an eco-friendly
objective, the enterprise becomes all the more meaningful and relevant to the
modern issues of environment. The students prepared Lord Ganesha idols in an
eco-friendly way using clay and paper machedisplaying
novelty, exquisiteness and charm in their art works. While the students of
grade 6 to 8 prepared these idols during their Eco Club Activity periods under
the guidance of their Eco Club teachers Ms.Neelima Shah, Dr. Sangeeta Thander,
the students of grade 8, 9 and 10 prepared these idols during their Clay
Modelling period under the guidance of their Clay Modelling teacherMr. Sanjay
Bhandawadiya during the period August – September 2015.
