'GOOD EARTH’ ACTIVITIES IN
THE MONTESSORI BLOCK

Before the advent of
Raksha Bandhan festival, an important Hindu festival symbolizing eternal love
between the brother and the sister, the children of Junior and Senior
Montessori made colourful rakhis by reusing old material brought from home. While Junior Montessori children made eye
catching rakhis from waste beads and old threads, the Senior Montessori
children used old invitation cards, waste coloured craft paper and old rakhis
to create a beautiful new rakhi. The children carried out this activity from
July 24, 2017 to July 27, 2017.
