Selling
Junior School and Senior School Handicrafts
The business team comprising of grade 11 students
soldcaptivating fridge magnets and exercise balls to parents of grade 1 and 2 during
the PTM of these classes on August 26, 2017. These items were prepared by the
students of grade 1 and 2 as a part of their art activity in the school. The
business team also sold torans and earthern pots prepared by the students of
grade 6 as a part of their intercultural curriculum while studying the state of
Indian state Rajasthan.
The School Enterprise Challenge is an
initiative to inculcate entrepreneurial skills in students by producing and
selling various eco-friendly products at nominal prices. These products were a
way to use waste materials innovatively and use the funds generated for a charitable
purpose.The students got to display and enhance their communication skills and
entrepreneurial skills.Such activities help students to enter into a
professional environment and at the same time connect to people for a social
purpose.
