Selling Lord Ganesha Idols
The business team comprising of grade 11 and 12
students sold Lord Ganesha idols made from clay and fluorescent colours to
teachers and students of grade 6 to 12 during the short break on September 12,
2018. The Ganesha idols priced at INR 50 and INR 150 were sold out within no
time as the sale was organized just a day before Ganesha Chaturthi, an
important Hindu festival symbolizing the birth of Hindu deity Lord Ganesha. We
learnt how to take a quick decision while dealing with the customers, how to
manage a large crowd in limited time as well as to count cash meticulously in a
short span of time. We just had 10
minutes to sell our products and within no time all the beautiful idols put up
for sale were bought. The idols were prepared by grade 6 and 8 students during
their CCA Indoor Activity periods. The vibrant colours and eco-friendly nature
of the idols attracted the customers.
