FUNDRAISING EVENT
Selling Junior School Handicrafts
As a part of School
Enterprise Challenge, we the students of grade 11 and 12 felt fortunate for
getting an opportunity to learn business tactics and work for a noble cause.
While selling our products to parents and teachers during the Parent Teaching
Meeting of grade 6 to 12 on October 27, 2018, we enhanced our skills of team
building, leadership and selling. An assortment of eye-catching coloured leaves
and beautiful paintings made by the students of grade 6 to 10, finger puppets and
small decorated clay pots made by students of junior classes, as well as exotic
saplings were displayed for sale. Parents were very keen to buy the products
created by their children and were interested in buying saplings too. Apart
from these products, we also sold customized T-shirts and tea mugs. While
selling saplings we were told by many parents to keep indoor plants and
saplings that could be used in cooking like curry leaves and coriander. We have
taken a serious note of their suggestions and will try to grow these in our
campus during the next term.
