SALES EVENT OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL
Selling Compost
As
a part of our business enterprise ‘Good Earth’, a Sales Event was organised
outside the school at Vendant Vidhayakulum to serve the Jain Community on Sunday,
June 30, 2019. Keeping in mind the efficient need of organic materials,
school-made compost was sold there. The compost was prepared by the students of
Eco Club of grade 7 to 10 with the help of in-house horticulturist and
gardeners. Five girl students of the business team of grade 11 and 12 – Yashika
Rajani of grade 12, Shreya Khiani, Siya Golani, Varnika Mishra and Shubhi Rishi
of grade 11 accompanied by teachers Ms. Raminder Mac and Ms. Nidhi Jain were a
part of the event. The event not only helped in increasing our knowledge but was
also a stepping stone towards enhancing our entrepreneurial skills. We learnt to deal with customers outside the
school and realised that selling was not an easy task. The profits are used for
helping the needy.
