MAKING
NEWSPAPER BAGS FOR PACKING COMPOST
Towards A
Greener Planet
Students
of art and craft activity of grade 6 and 7 made thick paper bags from old
newspaperson July 6 and 7, 2015 during their Indoor CCA periods. These newspaper bags will be used as
packaging material for 1 kg compost.
Compost
prepared in the school by Eco Club students will be sold to parents during the
PTM of students of grade 1 and 2 on August 1, 2015. This will help to generate
the start-up capital for our handicraft business.
The
packaging material for compost – the newspaper bags prepared by us are environment
friendly instead of the plastic bags which are normally used by nurseries. This
would be our small contribution in making our planet ‘green’.
