MAKING LANTERNS

Service Club Activity
As a part of Community Service Club Activity, the
students of grade 4 portrayed their creativity and made colourful lanterns
using old greeting cards, old wedding cards, waste paper and used decorative materials
etc.Ms. AmitaLalwani, faculty Junior School conducted a workshop on September 29,
2015 prior to making of the lanterns by the students. The
lanterns made by the students were unique and can be used for decoration during
Diwali.Diwali is the most important festival in India wherein the people
decorate their homes with decorative material like lanterns, door danglers,
candles, and earthen lamps. Diwali falls on November 11, 2015 this year.
