EVENT
It was akin to
transcending the frontiers of knowledge imbibed within the textbooks. My
gracious gratitude to the School’s Business Enterprise christened ‘GOOD EARTH’
that conferred me the privilege to partake in the Sales Event in the
Parent-Teacher Meeting of Grade 4 of the Junior School. It was utterly a sort
of virtual simulation that I encountered through the virtue of this benignant
pursuit. It was on this happening day, i.e. August 20, 2019 that the daylight
lingered into the fragrance of delight and we set out to vend Cartoon Stickers,
Creative Pots prepared by Junior School students as well as Golden Sticks and
School-made Compost prepared by the Eco – Club Students of the Senior School.
What a gratifying experience and heuristic approach of learning it was. The
business team comprising of Shubhi Rishi, Rudransh Kantharia, Naman Mulchandani,
Insiya Rangwala and Harshit Goyal of grade 11 were involved in the event. From marketing
of our merchandise to upholding the cash transactions, provision of bills to
our customers and promulgating our produce, it was a conglomeration of business
operations that we executed. This candidly aggrandised our potential business
acumen and perspicacity of entrepreneurial skills. The compost sold
expeditiously as we manifested our plausible prowess. Exuberant tots with their
gleeful parents strolled past us moulding a euphoric and glimmering aura. Some
halted to take a brief glance of the handicrafts while others contentedly
procured one for their insistent kids. The proclivity of kids’ preferred
cartoon character was a sight to behold. However, this sale bestowed in
edifying the penurious populace through utilising the funds accumulated for
charitable purpose. Consequently, this event endowed us with a panorama of
altruism, magnanimity, benevolence and humanitarianism, each epitomized within
this philanthropic endeavour.
