GOOD EARTH

The school runs a
business enterprise named ‘Good Earth’ as a part of ‘School Enterprise
Challenge’ an initiative of UK based charity ‘Teach A Man to Fish’. During the
Parent Teacher Meeting of grade 5 students on August 19, 2019, the business
team comprising of Aryan Gureja, Rhythm Neema, Garvit Bhandari, Prerak Choudhari
and Himanshi Tandi of grade 11 sold
cartoon stickers, creative pots prepared by Junior School students and saplings
grown by Eco Club students of the Senior School. It was the first time that we
got a chance to show the business skills. In the beginning we were a bit
nervous but as the parents showed interest in the products and our convincing
power, our confidence boosted. It was an overwhelming experience for us to be a
part of this event and at the same time develop our skills and mindset towards
practical life. The proceeds from the sales event will be used for a charitable
purpose.
