CREATING AWARENESS ABOUT HARMFUL EFFECTS
OF POLYTHENE BAGS
Distributing Newspaper Bags in the
Community
On the occasion of World Nature Conservation
Day on July 28, 2018, members of the business team of ‘Good Earth’ enterprise
distributed more than one thousand paper bags made from old newspapers to
shopkeepers in the community free of cost. The paper bags were prepared in
school by students of grade 9 and 10 in their CCA Indoor Activity periods. The
students also apprised the shopkeepers about the harmful effects of using
polythene bags and urged them to use newspaper or paper bags henceforth. The
students did their bit in creating awareness in the community to enable people
to become responsible citizens and help in curing our ailing planet.
