Providing Food Packets to Slum
Dwellers
Community Service Club of the
school joined hands with Robin Hood Army, a volunteer based organisation that
works to provide food to the less fortunate sections of society in cities
across India, to supply food to slum dwellers of Rau and Nehru Nagar. From the
profits generated, 1000 paper packets
were bought by members of the school business team. In these food packets, the
cooks of the school dining hall as well as the students and teachers of
Community Service Club provided puries and aloo matar vegetable. These food
packets were then distributed to the slum dwellers on Sunday, August 11, 2020. This
is in sync with the school’s earnest efforts for working towards UN Sustainable
Development Goal 2 ‘Zero Hunger’.
