SALES EVENT OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL
Selling Compost and Saplings
As
a part of our business enterprise ‘Good Earth’, a Sales Event was organised
outside the school at Bhandari Farm and Resort under the aegis of Rotary Club
of Indore Uptown on Sunday, August 18, 2019. Keeping in mind the efficient need
of organic materials, school-made compost and saplings of Aloe Vera, Coleus, Eranthemum
and Tulsi were sold there. We sold compost at INR 30 per kg and each sapling
for INR 50. The compost and saplings were prepared by the students of Eco Club
of grade 7 to 10 with the help of in-house horticulturist and gardeners. Five
students of the business team of grade 11 –Prathemesh Raje Silawat, Yash
Biyani, Yashraj Lalwani, Naitry Jain and Nikita Jewani accompanied by teacher
Ms. Raminder Mac were a part of the event. The
Rotarians complimented us for raising funds for a philanthropic endeavour. They
were also appreciative of the reasonable price of the products. The event helped
us in moving out of our comfort zone and interacting with customers who were
totally new to us.
